I’ve been eating this stuff for the past few days but never noticed the pun until someone pointed it out. I can imagine the marketing genius behind this having a brainstorm: “I know! I know what to call our new peanut line: Pakiaw! As in, Mani Pakiaw — get it?”
What will they think of next?
Oh, it’s not even that good. The peanuts, I mean. Too salty. I like Happy better.
